Elder Abuse and Mistreatment: A Primer for Attorneys

There are new challenges facing attorneys and professionals who represent older clients and their loved ones.  In this program, experienced practitioners Catherine Christian, Arlene Markarian, and Liz Loewy will discuss fundamental and evolving issues related to those challenges, including how to identify the different types of elder abuse and mistreatment, legal issues faced by attorneys in civil and criminal proceedings, strategies for handling cases, and promising interventions.
