Early Strategies for Successful Class Action Defense and Recent Developments in CAFA Removal

This program will discuss strategic steps litigators can take in the early stages of defending a class action and will also discuss recent developments in removal under the Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA). This course will benefit a broad range of civil defense litigators, including those who regularly defend class actions, as well as those who are new to class action defense.

2. Explore differences between defending a class action with experienced class counsel vs. cases where class claims are included to drive up the value of an individual claim
