Overview

This program will cover how to best guide businesses in ADA compliance when responding to COVID-19's effects on health in and out of the workplace. The program will focus attention on recent EEOC guidance that incorporates both CDC best practices and ADA requirements. In particular, the program will discuss conducting health checks and the use of PPE in the workplace, what to do if an employee comes down with COVID-19, how to administer FMLA and other leave, and responses to mental health issues resulting from the pandemic and quarantine. This CLE will empower business and employment advocates to understand the EEOC guidance, spot issues before they arise, and avoid liability for their clients.

Presented by Kristen Prinz, the Founder and Managing Partner of the Prinz Law Firm, P.C., an employment and business consulting practice in Chicago, this program will benefit employment and business attorneys seeking to provide current and helpful guidance to business clients desiring to follow best practices for health and safety in the workplace as it relates to COVID-19, without falling afoul of the ADA and other regulations.
