Compliance Considerations for Government Contractors

Many companies and organizations seek the opportunity to contract with government entities because government contracts often provide valuable experience, revenue, and opportunities. However, the decision to contract with the government should not be taken lightly. To achieve success, government contractors must obtain and maintain registrations and certifications. They also must make sure they prepare their proposals in full compliance with the law to avoid bid protests. Once a company is under contract with a government entity, the company and certain key individuals may be subject to more stringent rules applicable to political contributions, lobbying, gifts, and entertainment. 

This program, presented by Rebecca Moll Freed and Brian O'Neill, will discuss key compliance considerations for government contractors and prospective government contractors. The program will cover some of the key compliance considerations companies need to have in place in order to optimize government contracting opportunities, avoid bid protests, and maintain compliance with the law.
