This course is designed to provide general practitioners in the field of law with the fundamental working tools, knowledge, framework, and strategies to counsel their closely held business clients, covering a wide range of start-up and daily operational concerns facing such clients. Attorneys Joseph and Jeffrey Pozzuolo begin with the start-up and financing of the privately-held business, and proceed to consider many of the important issues facing owners such as operational and succession planning, acquisitions, or sale of the business, as well as employment and ethical issues of which practitioners should be aware.
