There is nothing more important in the Estate Planning process than proper intake of client information. This saves time and embarrassment when attempting to draft your typical estate planning documents. Proper intake also allows you to spot issues and identify deeper planning needs that your client may have.
This program will provide an estate planning attorney in New Jersey with a guide for proper client intake from an Elder Law perspective, allowing you to create customized tailored estate plans for your clients rather than one-size fits all cookie cutter estate planning documents.
Learning Objectives:
Jesse R. Hynes, Esq. concentrates his practice in Elder Law, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Estate and Trust Planning, Estate Administration, Asset Preservation and Protection, Disability and Special Needs Planning, Guardianship, and Medicaid.
Born and raised in Cranford, New Jersey, Jesse earned his Undergraduate Honors Degree in Psychology at Seton Hall University and his Law Degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. At Wake Forest University School of Law, Jesse was selected to partake in the Elder Law Clinic, which provides free legal services to low-income residents of Forsyth County, North Carolina. During his time in the Elder Law Clinic, Jesse made it a priority to assist disenfranchised voters to obtain ID cards so that they could vote. At the Elder Law Clinic, Jesse gained invaluable experience with the substantive laws affecting the elderly, including Guardianship and Medicaid.
Before and while attending law school, Jesse worked in the elder care field for approximately seven years, holding various jobs at an Assisted Living Facility. Jesse gained invaluable experience while working at the Assisted Living Facility, having been immersed in the day-to-day life of elders and their common problems and concerns. It was this experience that led Jesse to devote his life to Elder Law.
Jesse is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
When Jesse is not practicing law, he is either playing Ultimate Frisbee with his friends or spending time with his family dog, Bojangles.
