This course, presented by Linda Goldstein, will focus on how the regulatory environment has changed under the new FTC with a particular focus on how this has impacted claim substantiation requirements for advertisers.
The course will review the basic principles of claim substantiation and then explore how the legal standards have evolved under the current FTC regime. The course will address not only claim substantiation requirements but the expanded net of liability and how it is responsible for ensuring that claims are truthful and accurate. This program will benefit all advertising law practitioners including both in-house and outside counsel.
