The 2005 Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Prevention Act brought with it a slew of new questions surrounding who could file for Bankruptcy. “The Means Test” became the three words that petrified every Bankruptcy practitioner from moving forward on many cases.

Despite everything you’ve heard and read, filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is a relatively straightforward, simple calculation, and it’s becoming easier than ever to protect your client's property while getting rid of various types of unsecured debt.

This course is meant to be different.  Instead of discussing case law, we’ll discuss the practical steps that will allow you to take on Chapter 7 Bankruptcy clients of your own.  We’ll show you, step by step, everything you need to know, from the intake process all the way through to the Meeting of the Creditors. Along the way, you’ll learn that 80% of what you’re going to be doing is mental. That is, most of your job as a Bankruptcy practitioner will be explaining to your clients why and how Bankruptcy is beneficial. We’ll go through some tips and steps to get you there.
