This course will review the law and procedural hurdles that plaintiffs and defendants confront when litigating business defamation lawsuits in Virginia. Not only does this course go over the elements and defenses of the tort, but it also analyzes the constitutional issues at play, discovery issues, and other related torts. This presentation will help attendees form a stronger grasp of many of the modern issues that today's defamation litigants face in Virginia courtrooms.
