Overview
This program will benefit human resource managers, employment lawyers, and any company, small or large, that has employees. It is critical that employees be properly categorized and paid under the Fair Labor Standards Act to avoid substantial liability in terms of back pay and fines. Employers also must take care to properly classify independent contractors versus employees to avoid back taxes and liability to the Internal Revenue Service.
