AI Concierge for Your Law Firm: Angel, Demon, or Calculator

This course will review AI opportunities for law firms and associated legal ethics concerns and other risks. While specific AI products will be discussed, given the rapidly changing landscape, the discussion will focus on law firm pain points and client-centered approaches. Participants will take away practical tools to integrate AI into their daily legal practice from a risk management standpoint, anchored on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct.

1. Explore AI opportunities using specific commercially available AI products, paired with general concepts to apply to the AI of tomorrow
2. Consider the ethical obligations and pitfalls of the use of AI
   
3. Identify traditional legal malpractice and other risks and apply those risks to the use of AI
   
4. Develop practical tools to implement for the safer practice of law with AI
