Overview
This program will discuss the persistent issue of sexual harassment in the legal profession, challenging the notion that policies and training programs have eradicated the problem. Drawing from Women Lawyers On Guard's nationwide survey and report, "Still Broken: Sexual Harassment and Misconduct in the Legal Profession," the course will explore innovative approaches to combat this ongoing concern.
The program will benefit attorneys at all levels, particularly those in leadership roles or involved in professional conduct matters. Participants will learn how the Rules of Professional Conduct can be leveraged to enhance accountability, transparency, and independent investigations. Additionally, the course will introduce WLG's "Conversations With Men" initiative, designed to engage male attorneys as active allies in the fight against sexual harassment. Through case examples and practical recommendations, attendees will gain valuable insights into addressing sexual harassment effectively within the legal community.
