This program, presented by leading New York real estate and tax certiorari practitioner Jeffrey Golkin, will provide a survey of the Real Property Tax Law of New York as it relates to taxation of real property in New York City.
It will cover important information for attorneys with clients with property interests and living or doing business in New York City. Topics to be addressed include valuation methodology, assessment procedures, the administrative agencies with jurisdiction, and tax grievance and review procedures before the Tax Commission and the New York State Supreme Court.
