Overview

This program is not available for CLE credit.

This course is designed to help members of the legal profession appreciate what disability oppression looks like; consider the groups and forces that might sustain and benefit from it; and take steps to dismantle it or at least not contribute further to the problem. Georgetown Law Scholar Dr. Nicholas Lawson and Professor Jamelia Morgan from the University of California, Irvine School of Law will present findings from qualitative research, and Dr. Lawson will give an account of his own experiences in the medical and legal professions.
