Oregon CLE Requirements for Attorneys
Whether you're an experienced Oregon attorney or a Oregon newly admitted attorney, here's what you need to know about the Oregon CLE rules and requirements.

Oregon CLE Requirements At A Glance
Total Credits: 45 credit hours every three years
- At least 5 in Ethics
- At least 1 in Child and Elder Abuse Reporting
- At least 3 in Access to Justice every other reporting period
- At least 1 in Substance Abuse & Mental Health
CLE Deadline: April 30th
Carry Over Credits: Attorneys can carry over 15 hours into the next reporting period. A maximum of 6 Ethics credits can be carried forward and applied towards the following reporting period's Ethics requirement. Access to Justice and Child and Elder Abuse Reporting credits may carry over as General Credit only.
Reporting: Deadline is May 31st. Lawline reports credits for Oregon.
