William A. Slover is an attorney whose practice concentrates on real property disputes, title insurance claims, and transactional real estate. He also acts as a consultant to, and expert witness for, counsel involved in title litigation and related real estate disputes. From 1991 to 2013, concurrent with his private law practice, he owned and operated Province Line Title Agency Corporation, which specialized in underwriting commercial transactions in New Jersey. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Slover was New Jersey State Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. He maintains his New Jersey title insurance producer’s license.
Mr. Slover is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Real Estate Section of the Mercer County Bar Association. He served one term on the Princeton Borough Council from 1999 to 2001. Since 2009, he has been teaching Real Estate Transactions at Rutgers Law School. He has lectured on real estate and title matters at the annual convention of the New Jersey State Bar Association; he has been a lecturer for: (i) Rutgers Law School Continuing Legal Education Programs; (ii) National Business Institute; (iii) various New Jersey title insurance producer schools; (iv) large law firms; and (v) the (former) mandatory ICLE skills seminars for new attorneys. He also has taught courses in real estate and bulk sales, which were approved by the New Jersey State Bar for CLE credits. Mr. Slover is a former member of the Amicus Committee of the New Jersey Land Title Association, and a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Agency Section of the New Jersey Land Title Association.
Mr. Slover received his J.D. from George Mason University in 1983, and his B.A. from George Washington University in 1980. He is a member of the Bar of New Jersey, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
