Natalya Johnson focuses her law practice on the representation and counsel of management in employment law issues and business litigation. Natalya actively litigates in federal and state courts and in alternative dispute resolution forums. She has handled matters on behalf of financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, and Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, Natalya defends employers in matters including restrictive covenants, discrimination, and retaliation cases.
Prior to joining FordHarrison, Natalya was as an associate at Fox Rothschild LLP. In this role, she handled a broad range of matters including general business litigation, contract disputes, and employment law. While in law school, she served as the General Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and on the Cornell Law School Moot Court Board. Natalya earned her bachelor's degree with departmental honors and distinction in Government studies and graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University.
Natalya has served on the board of directors and as an executive member of the Garden State Bar Association and is a member of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, both affiliate organizations of the National Bar Association. This year Natalya completed a three-year term on the Executive Board of Directors of the Cornell Law School Alumni Association. Natalya frequently speaks and writes about matters concerning employment law and diversity in the law. She has spoken frequently about social media and how employers can craft clear and effective social media policies. She was recognized in New Jersey by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2016 and 2017.
