Louise is a highly pragmatic and responsive lawyer who provides practical, commercial advice on all aspects of employment law.
Experienced in Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, Louise has acted for high profile clients across the board in claims including unfair and constructive dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination and contractual disputes. Louise's key strength is developing close client relationships and an in-depth commercial understanding of their challenges, ensuring she is well placed to assist on any employment related issue, whether litigious, advisory or transactional.
Louise has extensive experience in the financial services sector, frequently advising on the employment aspects of cross-border regulatory investigations and connected litigation. In doing so, Louise advises across the full ambit of clients' regulatory personnel issues, including disciplinary proceedings, complex issues of privilege, and addressing employee compensation issues including the with-holding and/or forfeiture of bonus payments and deferred compensation.
Louise has a particular interest in advising on equality and diversity, and is called upon to give both strategic and specific advice on issues that feed into the gender pay gap such as equal pay, parental rights, quotas and positive action in both recruitment and promotion.
Louise was described as "truly exceptional and insightful" in the latest UK Legal 500.
