Julia Busetti is a criminal defense attorney in New York City. As Senior Appellate Counsel at the Center for Appellate Litigation, she represents clients in Sex Offender Registration Act hearings and in related appeals to the Appellate Division, First Department, and the New York Court of Appeals. Ms. Busetti is currently a member of the Corrections and Community Reentry Committee of the New York City Bar Association and formerly the Secretary of the City Bar’s Sex and Law Committee. She is a graduate of CUNY School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Busetti served as a law clerk in the Staff Attorney’s Office of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She subsequently represented criminal defendants and victims of civil rights violations with the Law Office of Zachary Margulis-Ohnuma. Ms. Busetti holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Grinnell College.
