Overview

This session presented by Megan Gray of Conde Nast, Rachelle Berlin Weathersby, Esq. of Employment Practices Solutions, and Nakimuli Davis-Primer of Baker Donelson, will examine the state of the law firm culture today. The presenters will discuss how law firm culture has historically created barriers for women, examine the status of law firm culture today, and engage in a broader discussion on how to improve law firm culture for women at a macro level (firm/policy level) and micro-level (individual). The course will cover how to break down gender barriers in firm culture by addressing bias in decision-making, how to respond to and curb microaggressions, and will provide practical guidance on how to achieve greater inclusion for women in the legal profession.
