In this program, seasoned attorney and real estate broker George E. Grace explores the business side of commercial real estate leasing so that attorneys have a deeper understanding of what matters to their clients in order to negotiate the best deal.
Mr. Grace covers the entire life of a real estate deal, including due diligence requirements when searching for a space or listing a property, negotiating lease terms, constructing a buildout, and overseeing operational issues. His program reviews other legal issues associated with closing a commercial real estate deal, including insurance and compliance with local regulations. Finally, Mr. Grace provides best practices for negotiating the terms of a real estate agreement successfully.
Learning Objectives:
George E. Grace has over 30 years’ experience in real estate consulting and brokerage. He has been a principal participant in several million square feet of leasing and sales transactions as a tenant representative and earlier as an owner’s agent. He has worked extensively with corporations, nonprofit and governmental organizations including Citibank, Honeybee Robotics, SmartStream Technologies, Kimco Realty, Money Media (a division of the Financial Times), The NY Organ Donor Network, and the Empire State Development Corporation.
George is a graduate of Fordham Law School. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago and an engineering degree from Cooper Union. He holds New York, Connecticut and New Jersey Real Estate Broker’s Licenses, a CPA certificate from the State of Illinois and is a admitted to the New York State Bar. He received the Counselor of Real Estate designation from the National Association of Realtors.

George Grace is excellent presenter. This course should be continued one way or another. update by Lawline after 2020? YES!!! G.E.
