Overview

With increasing frequency, today's political climate is focused on antitrust, perceived industrial consolidation, and "big data."  Our expert panelist, Gerald Stein, a former government enforcer at the Federal Trade Commission, will explore critical issues and offer strategic advice regarding vertical transactions (those instances when one entity acquires another in the supply chain). We will explore the areas that government enforcers have traditionally analyzed in these situations, including input foreclosure, customer foreclosure and information sharing. We will also discuss the impact of current court cases and government investigations.
