At virtually every CLE you have attended since you were sworn in to practice law, you have heard the oft repeated phrase, "Ethics is what you must do and professionalism is what you should do." This is a great platitude. But what is "professionalism"? How do we know whether we are being "professional" or not? This CLE, taught by solo practitioner Ron Daniels, focuses on the history of professionalism, the history of professionalism in the Georgia Bar, and examples of situations where a lawyer is facing a choices involving professionalism.
