Overview

Lawline faculty member, Joseph Yamaner, returns to provide a thorough discussion of real estate fundamentals for New York's residential real estate practitioners.

Mr. Yamaner begins with an overview of basic real estate principles and then evolves the discourse to include topics such as money laundering, zoning laws, exemptions, abatement and adjustments. Mr. Yamaner also illuminates issues pertaining to procedure and process as well as some special contract considerations such as taxes and estate planning. Additionally, Mr. Yamaner reveals some useful tips for counseling clients on financing, providing viable timelines and managing client expectations.  

This course is ideal for practitioners new to the practice of New York real estate law as well as a refresher for seasoned practitioners.
