This course will examine theories of potential liability for marketing of firearms, and will provide useful strategies for reducing liability risks. Camden Webb, who is a partner at Williams Mullen, will provide an overview of the statutes and case law that regulate this issue, including the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, the Connecticut Supreme Court’s decision in Soto v. Bushmaster, and other new developments regarding the theories of potential liability for marketing of firearms.
