LAWLINE.com Awarded Highest Rating by American Lawyer Media

NYC, -- This month's Internet Newsletter, published by the American Lawyer Media, the parent company of the New York Law Journal, awarded Lawline.com its highest five-star rating for legal web sites. The reviewer went on to suggest that Lawline.com become a "regular stop for everyone."

Started in 1999, Lawline.com is a leading online broadcaster of law-related media programming with over 420 law-related programs. Having sprung from the Lawline, the "longest running legal show in the New York metropolitan region," Lawline.com offers more video streaming legal products than any other legal web site in the U.S. In addition, Lawline.com was one of the first web sites to be accredited to offer continuous legal education courses (CLE) to New York State lawyers.

Lawline.com received the highest rating for excellence in all five categories. According to the rating, Lawline.com makes "amazingly good use of the medium" by providing an "incredibly rich archive of past television shows covering a broad range of legal issues, which include constitutional and individual rights, criminal justice, and dispute resolution."

In addition to the rich content on the site, the reviewer commended Lawline.com's user-friendly format, which allows the viewer to navigate efficiently. The review also lauds the extra step the creators took to ensure the viewer's accessibility and ease of use by configuring the shows to the viewer's connecting Internet speed and to the multimedia applications on the viewer's computer.

"Those of you who have never seen Lawline - the venerable television show - because of the local nature of the programming, now is your chance," advises the reviewer.

"We are thrilled that we have been recognized by our peers," said Alan Schnurman, who developed Lawline.com, the Internet's legal broadcast network, and is building it in into the largest law-related web site in the world using "Streaming Media." Schnurman, who has a highly successful career as a personal-injury attorney and trial lawyer with Zalman & Schnurman, has been called "the Larry King of Law" because of his popularity as the host of Lawline TV show and "the 21st century entrepreneur of the legal profession" due to the launch of Lawline.com.
