"Lawline is 'the longest running legal show in the New York metropolitan region." Please insert your own choice "Nightline" joke here. A staple on channel 25 in that city, Lawline.com is the Internet arm of the venerable television show. The site, thankfully, does not fall into the dangerous and odious practice of merely acting as a shill for its more traditional broadcasts.

The site is the first one reviewed that makes amazingly good use of the medium, providing an incredibly rich archive of past television shows that cover a wide range of legal topics, such as: constitutional and individual rights, criminal justice, and dispute resolution.

The site not only provides the shows in easily viewable format, it even goes that extra length to configure the shows to (a) the speed that you are connecting to the Internet and (b) the multimedia software that you have on your system. The creators of the site must have realized that they could reach a far greater audience by harnessing the power of the Internet than they could over any other medium. Moreover, for those of you that have never seen Lawline because of the local nature of the programming, now is your chance.

This is assuredly a five-star site, if only for the thought that went into the sites construction."
