Bio:

Alison L. Karmelek is an Associate at Gottlieb, Rackman & Reisman, P.C. in New York. She practices in the areas of intellectual property law and patent prosecution for domestic and foreign clients. Ms. Karmelek graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she studied Intellectual Property Law. Ms. Karmelek has worked in Japan, where she prosecuted U.S. patent applications relating to computer, mechanical, and electrical devices. Prior to entering Cardozo, Ms. Karmelek was a Patent Examiner in the Business Methods group at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Karmelek graduated from Cornell University in 2005 with a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.
