Bio:

Neil Weisbard is a senior associate in the Law Office of Slater & Beckerman, LLP. Mr. Weisbard has been with the firm since 2008. Prior to joining the firm he was an associate at Akerman Senerfit/ Stadmauer Bailkin LLP. Mr. Weisbard has been instrumental in securing special permits and variances from the New York City Planning Commission and the Board of Standards and Appeals for developers and major New York City Hospitals. Mr. Weisbard has also represented clients before the City Planning Commission, Board of Standards and Appeals, New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, Department of Buildings and local Community Boards.

Mr. Weisbard graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2005 where he was a Richardson Merit Scholar and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Land Use Controls, and the Max M. Lome Memorial Prize for Urban Law. Mr. Weisbard was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006. Prior to law school, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Ithaca College.
