Bio:

Sal Collemi is a senior manager in the Quality Control Department at Rothstein Kass.  He is based in the Firm’s Roseland office. Sal is a recognized expert in U.S. quality control standards, auditing standards, auditor independence rules and corporate governance matters affecting the U.S. public accounting profession. Sal is responsible for monitoring all professional standards and compliance matters for the Firm's Assurance Practice. He also performs engagement quality reviews of attest clients, oversees the Firm’s Internal Inspection Team, and performs independence audits of the Firm’s senior management.  As a recognized expert on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sal frequently lectures on topics relating to IFRS and U.S. GAAP differences. Named by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as an official participant in the development and review of IFRS questions for the Uniform CPA Examination and as an IFRS subject matter expert, Sal reviews the training program content for the IFRS Certificate of Accomplishment Program. Sal was recently appointed to the AGN (Accounting Global Network) International Accounting and Auditing Committee.
