Bio:

Jennifer Ellis is a consultant with Freedman Consulting, which assists law firms with a full range of issues, including such things as strategic planning, client development, project management, technology, and more, on the business side of the practice. Ms. Ellis concentrates her consulting in marketing, technology, the intersection of technology and ethics, client development, and teaching attorneys how to make effective use of technology to obtain better leverage and enhance profitability. She is a frequent speaker on issues involving social media, advertising, ethics, discovery and numerous aspects of law practice management and technology. Previously, Ms. Ellis served as Associate Director of Media Technologies with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, where she was employed from 1999 through 2011. She managed many of PBI's programs on technology, law practice management and technology law as well as its social media presence. Ms. Ellis obtained her B.A. in English from Dickinson College in Carlisle, and her J.D. cum laude from Widener University School of Law in Delaware, where she served on the Board of the Moot Court Honors Society and as a member of Law Review. She has also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Legal Methods at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg. Ms. Ellis is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
