AREAS OF PRACTICE:
- Tax Law:  Representation of taxpayers in structuring sophisticated tax-oriented real estate transactions including reverse, reverse-construction, construction, and forward deferred like-kind exchanges; income, estate and divorce tax planning; and representation of taxpayers throughout all stages of IRS audit examination and appeal as well as collection procedures and tax litigation before the United States Tax Court.  Creation and representation of partnerships and closely held corporations, and creation and administration of trusts and estates.

- Real Estate Law:  Representation of developers and lenders in all phases of real estate development including acquisition and sales, construction and permanent financing transactions; commercial (shopping center and office building) and residential leases; interaction with local, state and federal agencies with respect to developmental and zoning matters; high-volume settlements, and mortgage foreclosures.  Representation of developer and unit owner/homeowner associations throughout all aspects of condominium and multi-unit subdivision development including legal creation of condominium of PUD projects; registration of condominium with state regulatory agencies; securing approval of condominium of PUD projects by local governmental agencies and secondary mortgages market agencies including FNMA, FHLMC, VA & FHA.
