Bio:

Robert Bacorn M.D. was born June 14, 1919 in Elimira, N.Y. He received his B.A. from the Univeristy of Buffalo, and his M.D. from Hahneman University College of Medicine, which is now named Drexel University School of Medicine.  He also received an L.L.B. from Cornell Univeristy Law School and an M.P.H. from the University of Michigan where he was awarded membership in the Greek Letter Merit's Society for his academic acheivement.  Doctor Bacorn served in the airforce and the army and achieved the rank of captain. After his military service Dr. Bacorn began to work for the New York State Department of Health. During his 25 years with the Department of Health, he served as District Health Officer for Rochester District and later the Regional Health Director of Syracuse Region.  Dr. Bacorn also spent 2 years in private practice focused on geriatric medicine.
