Overview

In this program Alston & Bird Construction & Government Contracts attorneys Jacob Dean, and Andy Howard will discuss the relationship between government contractors in the construction industry and the federal government as a customer. They will provide an in depth overview of federal procurement policies, the FAR, and the procurement process and will cover ways to align the goals and incentives of multiple parties via the use of successful teaming and subcontracting strategies. Additionally, they will discuss ways to turn square corners in the procurement and project delivery process as well as what issues can lead to problems with the False Claims Act.
