About this Program

The current state of the economy was arguably the most important issue of the 2012 Election and continued to be as President Obama begans his second term in January 2013. In this program, some of the country’s sharpest legal and business minds collaborated together to provide an in-depth look at the economic impact on real estate, small businesses and everyone.

The presenters included Economist Roger Arnold who discussed the origins of the recent housing crisis and ways we could have prevented it, how the U.S. economy fared as compared to international economies, and sequestration - one of the hottest political issues in D.C. focusing on the upcoming mandatory cuts to federal programs.

Following him was CPA and Attorney Dr. Bart Basi who provided helpful insights into the significant sections of the U.S. Tax Law and the potential long term effect on businesses and individuals.

Finally, the program concluded with Emmy-Winning host of Win Ben Stein’s Money, Ben Stein. Ben Stein left viewers learning, laughing and, at times, crying, in his thought-provoking presentation on the history leading up to the current status of our national economic climate.

Do not miss this highly informative discussion that will keep attorneys and accountants inspired, educated and entertained while answering key questions on the economy and its affects on business owners and legal practitioners nationwide.
