William D. Buckley, Esq. is an appellate counsel at Garbarini & Scher, doing medical malpractice defense, insurance defense and commercial litigation. After graduating from LeMoyne College he taught social studies at two Catholic High Schools, received a Master’s Degree from Fordham University and became an assistant principal at St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, while working on a law degree at night. He is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School.
Mr. Buckley clerked for Hon. Alan B. Handler, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of New Jersey, Trenton, New Jersey and then with Hon. Barbara K. Hackett, U.S. District Judge, Eastern District of Michigan, Detroit, Michigan. He then went into the practice of law working as an associate attorney in commercial litigation. He began his concentration in appellate work when he joined the firm of Fiedelman & McGaw, the staff counsel firm for American International Group. In 2000, he became appellate counsel at Garbarini and Scher.
