Join Attorneys Sheila and Gerald Levine in this two part series as they give an in depth and advanced look into negotiating both print and digital (e-book) publishing contracts.  They will closely look at copyright law and more specifically the relevant provisions in ascertaining the author's ownership and grant of rights.  They will also discuss print publishing contracts and the typical provisions and highly negotiable terms. In addition, much focus will be given to the topic of royalties in the print publishing context, various representations and warranties, and the corresponding case law.  They will conclude this first session with an overview of negotiating strategies every attorney should never forget.
