Agency Law is basically a specialized branch of contract law where an agent is authorized to act on behalf of a principal to create a legal relationship with a third party. Attorney Morris Nunes introduces basic agency law and explains how it is closely related to contract law and how to recognize an agency. Mr. Nunes explains the various elements, such as control and manifestation of intent of an agency and also how to recognize them. He continues the presentation with an overview of the duties that both a principal and agent owe to one another along with the potential liabilities that the principal and agent may encounter with third parties. He finishes the presentation by providing some key points that may help one determine the existence of a relationship and also how to terminate an agency or to recognize the end of an agency.
