Description
Improvements in technology and the growth of the Internet have freed many businesses from operating brick-and-mortar locations. One type of business that can now operate without any physical storefront is the travel agency. In this program, attorney Laurence Gore discusses all of the relevant legal issues related to the home-based travel agencies. His presentation starts with advising viewers on the type of entity that should be used to create the travel agency and how it depends on the surrounding circumstances. The course also focuses on general legal liabilities, state seller of travel regulations, terms and condition statements, selling travel on the Internet, disclaimers and their use, drafting independent contracting agreements, and other negotiation issues in the travel industry.
