The 2010 Health Care Reform legislation will affect all employees from the temp to the CEO. While a significant portion of changes have already gone into effect, the remaining modifications will be implemented over the next three years. In this program, employment attorney Tina Maiolo teaches how all employers, including law firms, will see the affects of Obama's Health Care laws in the daily operation of their businesses. She will discuss what the landmark health care reform bill generally provides, how the law affects different employers of various sizes, how employers can comply with the new laws, and the penalties for noncompliance. Additionally, this program will be helpful for attorneys representing employee groups, and allow them to advise their employee clients on how they can predict the types of health care benefits from their employers. Understanding how to implement these health care changes for businesses is so important - otherwise, you or your clients could be breaking the law.
