Description
All attorneys are aware that they could be sued for malpractice, but what they don’t know is the primary reason why a client may sue them. In this program, ethics expert Daniel Abrams shares the major motives for malpractice litigation and how to avoid these suits. He explains what plaintiffs’ attorneys look for in a potential malpractice case as well as the common litigation stages where attorneys can get into trouble. You will also learn which clients to avoid all together, how to handle clients who contact you over the Internet, and how to “just say no” and decline representation within the parameters of the Ethics rules.
