An expert’s testimony can be an important tool during any complex litigation case; however, the challenge lies in properly qualifying your expert under New Jersey's Rules of Evidence. In this program, New Jersey “Super Lawyer” Michael Martino will share his insights into New Jersey’s adoption of the Federal Rules of Evidence and explain how to successfully select, prep, and present an expert at trial. Martino also gives advice on how to oppose the other side's expert’s qualifications and how to cross examine an expert witness. This course will be useful for all newly admitted New Jersey attorneys as well as experienced practitioners looking to improve their understanding of expert testimony.
Please Note: This course is available in New Jersey to fulfill 1.0 credits in the Newly Admitted Civil or Criminal Trial Preparation or Municipal Court Practice categories.
