Description
Getting evidence accepted by the court is one of the most important factors to successfully convict or defend an accused in a criminal trial. In this course, attorneys David Siegal and Kevin Puvalowski cover the common forms of evidence that can be admissible under the Federal Rules of Evidence and the frequent obstacles that attorneys need to overcome. They provide great hypotheticals of how these rules apply in various situations, and through an analysis of significant cases (including the Linda Tripp recordings of Monica Lewinsky), they explain how to increase the likelihood of getting your evidence admitted and your opponents' excluded. This is a great basic course for both prosecutors and defense attorneys who need to understand how to best introduce and oppose evidence under the Federal Rules.
