Description
Although individuals with gambling problems make up a small percentage of the general population, gambling addictions are surprisingly common with members of the legal profession. In his third program with Lawline.com, Kenneth Hagreen, the Executive Director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania, Inc., explores why some gamblers fall prey to addiction and provides detailed guidance on how to help troubled and impaired attorneys recuperate and regain their professional competency. Mr. Hagreen also discusses the differences between the three pathological subgroups of gamblers and sheds light on how addiction may become a gateway to bankruptcy, unemployment, divorce, and homelessness.
